THE SCOTTISH GALLERY EXHIBITION
Delighted to announce The Scottish Gallery are hosting a major exhibition of my work next month.
This collection will be slightly different in so far as it’ll be a set of portfolios where the work is void of any people. It’s also the first time a unique 1/1 entire portfolio is being made available for purchase. It’ll see a new direction where alongside the printed work I’ll offer a collective of objects, others' artwork or general inspirations allowing another insight into what inspires and moves me. This collection will be primarily from my own personal collection amassed over many years. This area will be titled: CURATED ROOM.
The print area of the exhibition will consist of four large portfolios made years apart, yet brought together with a common link that fascinates me, that being an ‘overarching theme of time’.
The four portfolios are:
POLAROIDS: UNIQUE WORK (NYC, 2004)
DESERT LINES: (ARIZONA, 2012)
BRIDGE: (LONDON, 2017)
MAR A BHA (English meaning AS IT WAS): (HARRIS, 2018)
A catalogue of the exhibition is available via The Scottish Gallery with a foreword introduction by Julie Lawson, Chief Curator at The Scottish National Portrait Gallery, Edinburgh and an individual portfolio comment by The Scottish Gallery’s Director Guy Peploe.
