An experimentation in energy, force, and tension.

Created in stages a lower base of acrylic is poured then has a single thin brass sheet placed on it. When set a secondary pour was made.

The acrylic when poured is opaque, almost like milk during the curing process. During the second pour a large pebble was placed in the casting as it cured and before a final pour was added.

The trapped air, within the porous rock and pressure as it moved slightly during the final pour, created a response with the differing elements producing normally unseen forces which have been captured, now fixed and which we can visualise.

Part of this exploration work with acrylic is allowing elements out with my control to react to situations I create, a collaboration of nature and human encouragement.
